The design magazine Metropolitan Home recently announced that the December 2009 issue of their magazine will be its last publication. Metropolitan Home joins Cottage Living, Gourmet, House & Garden, O at Home and Southern Accents as home design magazines that have quit publishing.
Internet advertising, blogs, content driven websites, the difficult economy, high unemployment, and foreclosures in the housing market are the common list of problems for these offline magazines.
